Using Content You Already Have For A New eBay Product

I think I’ve had a “vision”… This is an idea who’s time has come (a long time ago).

I’ve had in the back of my brain – the idea floats around and bubbles to the top often – and am finally getting around to doing it.

I have products I sell from this website… and yet they aren’t available anywhere else. Silly!

I also have lot’s of content that has never been published as a product anywhere – again Silly!

What’s a girl to do? Get it for sale on eBay of course.

I can also sell this content on other platforms – Amazon and Etsy comes to mind. I’m starting with eBay because that’s what I have been publishing lately.

It took me about a full day’s work to get it all done... not a huge amount of time to get my branded product on another platform.  This is something I can do with almost all of my products and hidden (unused) content I have stored “everywhere”.

Why Is Using Content You Already Have Important?

You don’t need to create anything new!  It’s usually a matter of editing the content you already have… and compiling it onto a CD.  Bam… new product.

This is branding on steroids… and necessary to grow my own business.  What was I waiting for? Who knows… probably a time issue.

Want to see the first product? I thought so….

Public Domain Cookbooks and Publishing How To Guide

Did you notice the price? $89.99!

I’ve included 17 Cookbooks from Best Public Domain Books.

I took ‘stuff’ I already sell – made it into a new product with huge value – sent it off to Kunaki for my printing/shipping.

I know what you are saying right now… “I don’t have this kind of stuff to sell”.

Let you in on a little secret – I didn’t have anything like this to sell a few years ago either.

Kick some butt… put it into high gear… create stuff to sell. And…. look in every nook and cranny on your hard-drives to see what you have that could be used for products.

By the way – this product is a huge huge HUGE value!

Cookbook Empires sells for $36 here:  Public Domain Cookbooks

17 Public Domain Cookbooks @ $15 each = $255

Value of this product = $291

Buy it on eBay for $89.99!

I’m just saying…..

Got to be a way to get your stuff (and mine) noticed on Amazon. I am just so “over” Ebay and their constantly changing TOS and fees. Seems like they have gone out of their way to run all the small sellers out of there.

Hi Debra,
I like your idea of bundling with a huge discount. I thought with the Geoff Shaw course that you were moving onto the Kindle platform?
Regards,
Rob

I was going to work on Kindle books… I’m gun shy about Kindle at this time. They are closing accounts all over the place for TOS violations. I’ll wait it out until publishing on Kindle with public domain content has black and white answers. I love love love Geoff Shaw’s course. I’m using some of the “stuff” for CreateSpace books instead of Kindle.
8-)
