Today is a rant… if you can’t stand ranting close this window because I have nothing else to share on this page but my RANT.
I was a really big fan of the guys who sell Auction Spy. WAS
I still love the tool – but will no longer be recommending this tool.
I had a reader email me asking for help contacting the guys because he was not getting any response.
All he wanted was a bit of help getting the tool to connect with eBay… he had followed all the instructions and still the tool wouldn’t work for him.
It’s probably a simple fix and would take the “guys” less than 10 minutes to offer him a solution.
GRRRRRR….
I’m pretty darned protective and I will not put up with poor (or none) customer service Auction Spy!
I have pulled my Recommendation of Auction Spy Off This Site
They are no longer answering customer support questions.
I will not put up with poor customer service.
This website has always recommended Terapeak for eBay Research. It IS a far better tool and if you are going to be a serious eBay seller I can’t recommend it highly enough.
p.s. I feel like I am channeling Tiffany Dow (Honey Badger) today. Giggle

I bought this tool as well and it didn’t work at all!
I sent numerous emails asking for help and then asking for a refund but to no avail.
I didn’t get one reply from them.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one not getting a response from Support at Auction Spy. When I went to register the email address (the same one I used to purchase Auction Spy and the one I used to leave a comment, the pop-up said “Invalid email address, try again.” I tried several times and got the same pop-up after which time I emailed the Auction Spy Support several times and have yet to hear from them. Guess my Auction Spy program will be useless when I do want to use it and I can guess no refund will be forthcoming.
It is not your fault Debra. We all make choices in good faith and sometimes through no fault of our own, it just doesn’t work out to a positive ending.

You might want to tweet about the bad experience with Auction Spy (including a hashtag that identifies them). Seems to work best for complaints because these companies monitor Twitter for just that. Might get the response you need.

Molly… The product Auction Spy is sold on Clickbank… you can always get a refund from Clickbank.

Desiree – yep the blog article when out on Twitter. We will see if I ever get a response.
I also contacted Clickbank customer service to alert them to the issue.
Of course Clickbank will not make this a priority unless customers requests a refund.

I didn’t buy this product but would have sure been upset if I couldn’t get it to work or did not receive the help I requested. Thank you for writing this.
I have gotten rid of some of the people I was following because I found an error on their post or whatever and did not receive back an email at least acknowledging the email, even if they didn’t want to fix the problem. For instance a link to a product they were giving away did not work and they did not fix it after being told about it.
