What Is Old Is New Again

Hey all… I didn’t have a better way to capture your attention than to just say “What’s Old is New – Again”. LOL

I’m sure that most of you (if you have been around for a while) remember the “Blog In A Day” product I created several years ago. Well – I’ve updated it for 2012.

I took out some stuff that just didn’t work for me anymore and added in a ton of new stuff.

First – let me explain what the Blog In A Day system does:

You can – Today – research a niche, choose a keyword, choose a domain name, set up a WP blog and fill it with 4 or 5 pages of juicy content.

Did you get that you can do this in ONE Day? Yep – I’ve done it over and over.  Some of the blogs I’ve set up – I’ve sold off. Some of them were duds and some of them are continuing to work (and pay me in cold-hard-chash) every month for years.

What has changed? I don’t use “automation” for anything anymore. I still have some blogs that this has worked for… but for the most part building a blog takes a bit more work than hitting a button and having automatic content just fill it up.

Now here is where I Want You To Take Notice:

I’ve also added some very cool stuff that has NOTHING to do with Micro-Niche blog building.

Micro-Niched blogs are small and they are tightly targeted to just a few keywords. They rank very well in the search engines and they are easy to rank.

What I share that is really new… I have a new blog that is going to be an “Authority Blog”.  What is an Authority Blog? Well… it’s a huge blog – built over time and is Never finished. It’s a blog where you want to connect with your readers on many different levels. (Much like this blog)

Years ago… to many to count… I built an authority blog that had nothing to do with marketing or public domain content.  I was THAT Painter Lady (still am in some ways).  It was not only a blog – but my BRAND.

I’m ready to do that again… build a new Brand. And, once again, it has nothing to do with Internet Marketing – or – How to make money.

Oh no… I’m not going to share it here (yet). It’s not nearly ready for prime time.

It is built and has a few nice pages of content. Some pages are pure public domain content and some I wrote completely myself and some are a combination of the two.  The way it “sits” right now took me about a day to build.  (I even have my “brand” logo on the blog)

I decided to share that blog and let you watch me build it from scratch inside “Blog In A Day“.

The really cool thing is that I didn’t raise the price… it’s still just $10 bucks.

hi Debra sorry to hear about your blogs getting hacked that happened to me last year I had three sites hacked all wordpress blogs apparently wordpress is a hackers dream
I got someone o fiverr.com for the price of 3 gigs ($15.00) to restore and secure all three sites he also installed more security and told me how the hackers got into the sites apparently the person whom I purchased the blogs off left various files open and made it easy for the hackers to get into the site
However one site i gave up it was a home schooling site the hackers turned it into a pono site just let the domain go
good luck

From security and cost standpoints, have you ever considered using Blogger (Blogspot) for your blogs? It now has much more flexibility than it used to and can be fully monetized. Just curious why more don’t make use of it, rather than the glorified WordPress.

First off, Peter, I am sorry to hear that you had to give up your home schooling blog. That is a shame.

I am sorry about your problems with the hacking also, Debra. My daughter’s site that I gave her was closed down. When I went to check what was going on, someone had gone in and registered an email on her site and was using it. It was registered through one of the folders of the site. Don’t know why people do these things but they do.

I have downloaded this and am getting ready to read it. Thank you for updating it.

Steve – I don’t use Blogger Blogs for one very good reason. Google can and will shut my sites down for some small infraction of the rules.
