Do You Write For Money or Passion

Do you write for money or passion? People write for a variety of reasons. Some because it’s a deep, heartfelt passion and others because they enjoy the challenge. Still others write because they want to make a name for themselves.

And then, there are folks that write…to make money!

We write in our blogs, our ebooks and our reports. Our emails and articles for marketing. Online publishers do a ton of writing… and of course most of us are publishing so that we can eventually make some cold hard cash.

No matter what the reason, writing is a talent, whether blessed with natural ability or developed through writing courses and workshops.

Looking back in history at some of the greatest writers known to man such as Shakespeare or Edgar Allan Poe, or to the novice writer just starting to put pen to paper, all writers experience the same things:

  • Every writer struggles at one time or another with writer’s block.
  • Every writer longs to find what to write about in order to be successful as an author.
  • Every writer must learn to be organized and take action.
  • Every writer needs to be motivated, inspired, and use every method they can for developing new ideas.
  • Every writer wants their creativity shine for their readers to enjoy and learn from.
  • Every writer has a goal of providing some kind of useful information for others to benefit.

There are a LOT of eBooks available that explain “how to write an information product.”

Most of the tutorials out want you to actually “write” every word you publish… be creative and inspired at all times… and oh yeah, using perfect grammar, spelling and punctuations is a huge plus.

I have days when I can write lot’s of witty, informative and inspiring prose… sometimes I even get most of the grammar and spelling correct.

Then I have days when I have to much to do or I want to take a nap… and the writing really needs to get done.

That’s when I turn to copyright-free Public Domain content. It’s usually well written, proven (already published) material… just waiting for me to copy and paste… push Publish… and I’m Done!

Want to find out how you can use copyright-free content in your business?
