Public Domain Recipes Perfume Bath Oils And Salts

Public Domain Recipes Perfume
Perfume has a long history dating back to Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt. In fact archaeologists have found perfume dating back 4000 years ago. 4000 years!

That means an abundance of public domain information and content about perfume – including perfume recipes, bath oil recipes and even aromatherapy blends.

For example, A Practical Treatise on the Manufacture of Perfumery (1892) found here at http://www.archive.org/details/practicaltreatis00deitrich, is rich with how to information on making a variety of scents. This material could easily be repackaged or snippets could be taken from the book and used as blog posts or marketing content.

People love the idea of making bath products and scents. You could use this book, and a whole host of others, to create a perfume recipe book. The images found both inside A practical treatise on the manufacture of perfumery and other books like The Art of Perfumery found at http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/16378 can be reformatted or refurbished to create quite a beautiful package.

In addition to archive.org being a fantastic resource for public domain texts related to perfume you can also find public domain texts at:

There is an abundance of content available on how to make perfumes and bath and body products. Use the public domain to create products your audience will love.

Finding Public Domain information can be frustrating and often an endless rabbit hole. Every week I help publish a public domain information newsletter that reveals new website links and product ideas.
